We operate a dedicated in-house digital print and finishing division producing high-volume consumables including event badges, wristbands, tickets, labels and branded collateral for global events.
The Role
The Print Production Manager sits within the Operations team and is responsible for print production leadership and delivery performance, playing a key role in ensuring event-critical consumables are produced accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This senior-level role combines hands-on technical print expertise with operational leadership. You will take ownership of production output, workflow efficiency, quality control, consumables planning and cross-department coordination.

The Day Job
Production ownership and Delivery:
* Take full accountability for successful delivery of all printed consumables
* Manage workflows from order intake through production, finishing and dispatch
* Prioritise urgent and event-critical orders to meet strict deadlines
* Digital Press and finishing oversight:
* Oversee operation of Epson SurePress and finishing equipment
* Ensure efficient machine utilisation and minimal downtime
* Maintain consistent high-quality output standards
* Workflow and Process Management:
* Develop structured production schedules
* Implement clear SOPs for repeatable, high-quality results
* Identify workflow improvements to increase speed and reduce waste
* Quality Control
* Maintain alignment, colour consistency and finish standards
* Implement structured quality checks across all output
* Investigate and resolve production discrepancies
* Consumables and Stock Handling:
* Forecast materials for large event runs and seasonal spikes
* Monitor usage and control production costs
* Ensure uninterrupted stock availability
* Team Leadership and Development:
* Support and mentor print operators
* Allocate daily production tasks
* Promote accountability and performance standards
* Cross Department Collaboration:
* Liaise with Sales, Operations, Logistics and Technical teams
* Confirm artwork specifications and delivery timelines
* Act as primary contact for production queries
* Maintenance & Compliance:
* Oversee machine maintenance schedules
* Troubleshoot issues to avoid delays
