The Opportunity
We are looking for talented People and Change consultants who are eager to grow their career in the infrastructure sector.
Based in the North of England or Scotland, you will join a growing Advisory practice specialising in helping drive change and transformation across organisations operating across the built environment, predominantly in Water, Energy, Transport and Nuclear sectors.
You will be responsible for leading small delivery teams of technical specialists and junior consultants as part of an integrated programme or project team. You will manage the delivery timetable and budget, quality assure the work, and work closely with the senior project/programme leader.
We are committed to technical quality and building high quality, enduring relationships with our clients. You will manage day‑to‑day deliverables, listen to and understand client needs, and respond proactively to feedback.
These opportunities are suited to experienced consultants keen to take the next step in their leadership development journey. Roles are based in Glasgow (potential for Edinburgh) and Leeds or Manchester.
Responsibilities
* Lead small delivery teams of technical specialists and junior consultants.
* Manage delivery timetable, budget, and ensure quality delivery.
* Build and maintain high quality client relationships.
* Understand client needs and respond proactively to feedback.
* Drive programme and project integration across technical disciplines.
Requirements
* Degree and/or extensive experience in business, HR, change management, management consulting, or occupational psychology.
* Chartered or working towards chartership/considering becoming a Chartered Management Consultant.
* Experience in a consulting or in‑house environment with at least two of: team effectiveness & collaboration, leadership & capability, culture & organisational change, operating model & organisation development.
* Project management and delivery skills including financial and risk management.
* Capability to develop business proposals by understanding client requirements and drawing together multi‑disciplinary expertise.
