Electrical Maintenance Manager – Hard Services Provider – SE London - up to 60K
One of our long-standing clients is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Manager to work as part of their busy estates team to service and maintain one of their most important contracts based in South East London.
They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager who can provide first-class customer service, organize, manage, and motivate their engineering team, and support senior management.
The role reports directly to the Estates Director, with whom you will work closely daily.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The main duties include:
* Controlling all electrical services and managing associated engineering contracts.
* Managing statutory compliance.
* Overseeing building services, infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs.
* Assisting in project management of building refurbishment projects.
* Maintaining all plant, backup, and monitoring systems, including regular testing and compliance with legislation.
* Providing troubleshooting support.
* Supporting infrastructure adjustments, liaising with user groups, preparing documentation, and supervising contractors.
* Managing outsourced contracts.
* Ensuring contractor procedures comply with legislation.
* Monitoring costs and ensuring value for money.
* Leading regular update meetings with contract managers.
* Managing electrical incidents and outages.
* Driving additional work opportunities and technical solutions through leadership.
* Providing technical guidance to ensure high standards and swift defect rectification.
* Coordinating resources for technical and innovative solutions.
* Leading sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency and proposing new technologies.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Recognized electrical apprenticeship and fully qualified to a recognized level (e.g., C&G, HNC/HND).
* Proven experience in a hard services maintenance role.
* Experience managing contractors.
* Experience working within estates, hospitals, or healthcare environments.
* A strong team player capable of prioritizing and solving problems under pressure using innovative solutions.

* Strong people management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
