About the Role
Our Client, a specialist maintenance company, is seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Executive to support continued growth. Working within a dynamic and supportive team, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and driving sales performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within a fast‑paced sales environment, working with commercial clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails and networking
* Qualify leads, book meetings and manage opportunities through to close
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
* Promote services including inspection, cleaning, maintenance and repair solutions
* Attend client meetings across the UK to secure new business
* Prepare quotes, proposals and support tender submissions
* Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline within the CRM system
* Conduct market research to identify target sectors and new opportunities
* Support the wider team in achieving sales targets and objectives
About You
* Previous experience in B2B sales, telesales or business development
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self‑motivated, target‑driven and ambitious
* Organised with good attention to detail
* Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience within facilities management, construction or a service‑based industry
* Exposure to working with commercial or multi‑site clients
