Our client is a leading contractor currently delivering a major infrastructure project in Norfolk and is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering works on a major infrastructure scheme
*
Managing and coordinating 3 Setting Out Engineers
*
Taking ownership of extensive drainage works
*
Resolving design queries in conjunction with the wider engineering team
*
Ensuring works are delivered in line with QA and project specifications
*
Supporting site management with technical input and reporting
Required Experience & Skills
*
Proven experience as a Section Engineer on infrastructure projects
*
Strong drainage experience is essential
*
Confident managing setting out teams and engineering deliverables
*
Ability to interpret and resolve design and technical queries
*
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
Certifications (Preferred / Advantageous)
*
SMSTS
*
Valid Highways Passport
*
Safety Critical Medical
*
Working knowledge of Field View / Viewpoint
Additional Requirements
*
Own laptop with AutoCAD
*
Full UK driving licence preferred as the project is in a remote location
