Responsibilities
* Managing the brigade to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation
* Demonstrating a committed approach to the development of creative menus and service in the kitchen
* Ensuring the quality of food meets the exceptional standard expected at any outlet served by Fletchers Kitchen
* Continuously striving for achievement and improvement
* Keeping the Head Chef informed of relevant feedback from hotel guests or the team
* Assisting on sections or performing other duties when required
* Training and delegating tasks to junior team members
* Ordering daily, considering stock usage, menu planning and business levels
* Maintaining cleanliness, stock control, organisation and kitchen standards
Qualifications
* A true passion for food
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
* Good kitchen and knife skills
* Comprehensive understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen
* Willingness to meet the high standards demanded by a luxury establishment
* Innovation, creativity and attention to detail
* Ability to thrive under kitchen pressure
* Experience supervising and guiding others
