Job Description
1. Works Order Management* Create, release, and manage production works orders in SAP based on manufacturing schedules and demand forecasts.* Monitor order progress and ensure timely closure of completed works orders.* Coordinate with production and planning teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.2. Master Data Maintenance* Maintain accurate material master data, BOMs, routings, and work centres.* Ensure data integrity and compliance with site-specific manufacturing standards.3. Inventory and Materials Management* Support inventory transactions including goods receipts, goods issues, and stock transfers.* Monitor stock levels and assist in resolving inventory variances.* Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure material availability.4. System Support and Troubleshooting* Act as the first point of contact for SAP-related issues on site.* Troubleshoot and resolve user errors, system bugs, and transactional issues.* Liaise with IT or SAP support teams for escalated issues.5. Reporting and Analytics* Generate and distribute SAP reports related to production, inventory, and order status.* Support KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis.6. Compliance and Audit Support* Ensure SAP transactions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.* Support internal and external audits by providing relevant SAP data and documentation.7. Continuous Improvement* Identify opportunities to streamline SAP processes and improve system efficiency.* Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance manufacturing operations through SAP.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Planning SAP Admin should have:
