We have a fantastic opportunity available for a receptionist to join our Zetland Vets team, working across our Westbury and Patchway branches! This is a fixed-term contract, expected to last around 12 months.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public, both on the telephone and in person. Your role is to demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice and give confidence to our clients.
Responsibilities include:
1. Check and update vaccine/contact details during each visit or phone call.
2. Organise appointment diary efficiently to maximize the number of clients seen.
3. Actively promote Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance.
4. Ensure clients pay for services on the day of treatment.
5. Keep the reception area clean and tidy, especially in preparation for the next working day.
6. Adhere to all practice and reception policies/procedures to ensure excellent customer service.

Your shift pattern
You will work approximately 31.5 hours weekly, with shifts including:
* Monday: Westbury, 1:30 PM - 6:45 PM
* Tuesday: Patchway, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
* Wednesday: Patchway, 2:30 PM - 6:45 PM
* Thursday: Westbury, 1:30 PM - 6:45 PM
* Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:45 PM
* One Saturday every four at our Zetland Road hospital, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
