Purpose of Job
The Analyst supports the SIG infrastructure-banking teams by facilitating project preparation, implementation, and monitoring. The role provides strategic insights, business intelligence, and planning, focusing on the Ukraine FIRST Project Preparation Facility (PPF). The analyst collaborates with unit heads, technical and financial specialists, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality research, analysis, and reports.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Assist in day-to-day project activities, including drafting documentation, managing consultant processes, and monitoring deadlines.
2. Report and oversee project delivery, supporting the Ukraine First project preparation.
3. Support activities across SIG sectors, working with various teams and units.
4. Monitor external consultants and assist with procurement of consultancy frameworks.
5. Maintain templates and standard ToRs for feasibility studies and project assignments.
6. Collect, organize, and synthesize data from multiple sources.
7. Prepare clear reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences.
8. Evaluate the impact of the unit’s products and services, providing feedback for improvement.
9. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to the unit’s visibility and knowledge sharing.
10. Maintain workload data and contribute to policy delivery activities.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, political science, or related fields.
* Relevant experience in research, analysis, or consulting, preferably in strategic or policy settings.
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
* Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or R.
* Motivated, proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and in teams.
* Experience in events management and stakeholder engagement.
* IFI experience is a plus.
