We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a range of Stockport SEND and mainstream schools. You’ll be working with pupils who may have ASC, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, or other additional needs, supporting them both academically and emotionally so they can thrive. What you’ll be doing: Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual EHCPs Helping deliver engaging, accessible learning activities Supporting children with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour Assisting with sensory needs, routines and structured interventions Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals Providing personal care where required (training can be provided) What we’re looking for: Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting children with SEND in a UK setting (school, nursery or specialist provision) A nurturing, patient and resilient approach Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to build trust and positive relationships quickly Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Team Teach or similar training is beneficial but not essential What we offer: Competitive daily pay Flexibility around your availability Free CPD including safeguarding, behaviour and SEND-specific courses A dedicated consultant who understands Bolton schools and SEND settings Opportunity for long-term roles with potenti...
