What your working day will look like
* Participating in the entire dispensing process
* Checking and preparing medication orders
* Ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals
* Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals
* Delivering courteous and effective customer service at all times
* Completing and maintaining accurate administrative records
* Managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
* Receiving, storing, and issuing medications and other supplies
* Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring adequate stock levels
* Providing healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources when necessary
Qualifications
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* NVQ3 qualification
* Completed the additional accuracy‑checking course in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent qualification
* Prior experience in a customer‑focused environment
