Job Overview: this role is the vital technical bridge between sales and engineering, ensuring AGV proposals for customers are feasible, well-scoped, and clearly documented for smooth project delivery. You will evaluate customer sites and applications, perform simulations to validate feasibility, define scope of supply, and produce sales-ready documentation including technical proposals, specifications, and limits of use.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the sales team by assessing customer requirements for AGV suitability and attend customer meetings to gather technical information
* Lead application reviews to assess route layouts, safety needs, integration points, and operational constraints.
* Use AGV simulation tools to validate application concepts and present simulation findings in a clear, visual format to internal stakeholders and customers
* Produce detailed technical sales documentation and identify and document application-specific risks and safety requirements.
Requirements:
* Background in Electrical, Control Systems, or Automation Engineering.
* Proven experience working with AGVs in a technical or application-focused role, strong understanding of AGV control architecture
* Confident producing technical documentation, scope of supply, and sales proposals independently
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to think both conceptually and practically.
* Comfortable presenting and communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as producing technical documentation, scope of supply, and sales proposals independently.
* Excellent communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles.
