We are now seeking to appoint a passionate, creative and inspiring teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can teach Art and Design Technology and who is committed to motivating, encouraging and empowering young people. The successful candidate will be a positive role model, a strong advocate for our students, and someone who brings enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the classroom.
You will play a key role in shaping and developing the delivery of Design Technology across all key stages, contributing to the continued growth and success of the Art, Design and Technology faculty. We are looking for a dynamic team player and a reflective practitioner who strives for excellence and is eager to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Great passion for your subject with the ability to deliver creative and inspiring lessons and continue to raise teaching standards within ADT.
* Be a highly motivated individual and an enthusiastic teacher with a desire to inspire students to achieve, succeed and exceed in their learning of Art and Design.
* Have experience teaching Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and KS4 Food Technology and KS4 Design Technology or vocational qualifications.
* The enthusiasm and energy required to work with the children and young people in our schools.
* Be able to support a programme of enrichment activities in conjunction with other staff.
* Organise regular opportunities for students both within the academy and in our local community.
* Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
* An unwavering belief in the power of education to change lives, following the KSA way and helping our students in 'being the best they can be'.
