IT Support Engineer | National Manufacturing & Hospitality

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a leading UK-based hospitality group, supporting a diverse portfolio of venues and offices across the country. The Role
As an IT Support Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support to end users across the business. You’ll provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring reliable and efficient IT service delivery. This role involves diagnosing and resolving incidents, managing user accounts, configuring new devices, and maintaining core business applications, including ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day IT support for desktop systems, Microsoft applications, and business software.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email, or in person, maintaining a strong customer focus.
* Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, and peripherals in line with company standards.
* Set up new user accounts and manage access permissions in core systems and Microsoft 365.
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or third-line support when necessary.
* Assist with system upgrades, patch management, and application rollouts.
* Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and configurations.
* Contribute to IT projects and process improvement initiatives.
* Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support as required.

Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk role.
* Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
* Knowledge of PC hardware setup, networking fundamentals, and IT security best practices.
* Experience supporting ERP or business-critical applications (desirable).
* Relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, ITIL Foundation) are advantageous.
