Workshop Manager - Forklift Dealership
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Our client, a leading forklift dealer, is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a busy forklift workshop. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for technician management, workshop performance, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily workshop operations and technician workload
* Ensure all repairs and services are completed on time and to quality standards
* Monitor and improve workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
* Support customers with clear communication and problem-solving
* Report on workshop KPIs and ensure accurate invoicing and documentation
* Identify training needs and support ongoing staff development
Qualifications
* Experience in a Forklift or an engineering workshop at Supervisor level or above
* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* Confident in planning, productivity management, and KPI reporting
* Customer-facing experience with good problem-solving ability
