Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced, proactive Operations Manager to lead and coordinate my clients production, procurement, and design operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing (ideally fabrication, complex assembly), combined with excellent leadership and organisational skills. Reporting to the MD the role includes: Key Responsibilities: Oversee production planning, ensuring efficient workflows and timely project delivery. Manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and cost control. Implement and maintain robust quality control and health & safety procedures. Supervise surveying valuations, variations, and monitor commercial performance. Oversee CAD/design work and ensure alignment with project specifications. Lead, develop, and support production and procurement teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations. The ideal candidate (call for more info) Proven experience in a similar operations or production management role. In-depth knowledge of complex manufacturing. Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with procurement, cost control, and supplier management. Familiarity with surveying valuations / estimating and commercial reporting. A collaborative leader who promotes safety, quality, and team engagement. Track record achieving OTIF delivery and margin targets Experienced in maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) standards and building motivated, high-performing teams Why this?
