They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing all commercial and cost-related elements of high-spec construction projects. Working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and delivery teams, you will help ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
Cost planning, budgeting and managing project finances
Procurement of subcontractors, materials and specialist suppliers
Preparing and reviewing contracts, variations and valuations
Monitoring and reporting on commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle
Ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications and quality standards
Contributing to risk management, value engineering and project optimisation
Working collaboratively with internal teams and clients to maintain excellent relationships
Quantity Surveyor Requirements
Experience working on high-end/high-spec residential projects is essential
Strong background in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Budget Control
Knowledge of construction processes, contract administration and project delivery
Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with construction management or cost management software
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
