Global benefits consultant - acquisition integration (2 year assignment)

What You'll Do:

Collect and analyze existing benefit plans, policies and vendor contracts for existing global health and welfare and retirement programs in recently acquired company.

Prepare comparisons to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation across benefit programs

Develop, recommend and execute comprehensive benefits integration plans for acquired company

Create detailed change management plans including transition timelines, and communication strategy

Manage retirement plan consolidation across global markets (including defined benefit/contribution schemes, occupational pension plans, social security coordination, and statutory requirements as applicable by country)

Navigate multi-country benefits complexities, including tax implications, regulatory differences, currency considerations, GDPR compliance, and local labor law requirements

Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the integration process across all relevant jurisdictions, including pension regulations and data protection requirements

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups

Coordinate with HR, Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and external advisors (including local benefits brokers and employee representative bodies (where applicable)) to ensure timely benefits integration

Conduct benefits benchmarking and gap analysis across acquired entities

Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining competitive benefits positioning across the region

Support internal vendor onboarding process

Support the Regional Benefits Manager in executing regional integrated benefits strategy and initiatives

What We're Looking For:

1. 8+ years of global benefits consulting or management experience, with acquisition integration experience
2. Demonstrated project management experience leading complex, multi-workstream integration initiatives
3. Deep expertise in retirement plan integration and consolidation across global markets
4. Strong knowledge of benefits legislation and compliance requirements
5. Understanding of GDPR and data privacy requirements in benefits administration
6. Proven track record managing complex, multi-entity benefits integrations
7. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
8. Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field
