This global advanced machinery builderis seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with strong EPLAN design, automation, and electrical systems integration experience.
The main responsibility of the Electrical Design Engineer will be to develop and deliver electrical control system designs for automated assembly lines, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer specifications. You will be involved in projects from concept through to completion, including technical documentation, schematic development, panel design, and on-site commissioning. There will also be opportunities to engage with robotics, Industry 4.0, and advanced manufacturing systems, as well as travel across Europe to support installations.

Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in electrical design for automation or special-purpose machinery
* Skilled in EPLAN (including fluid and 3D panel design)
* Solid understanding of industrial network protocols, safety systems, and machine control architecture
* Experience producing electrical schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation
* Working knowledge of Sinamics / VFDs, safety zones, and 24V/230V isolation
* Eligibility to work in the UK/EU and willingness to travel across Europe
