Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for their section preparing and cooking starters & desserts while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise within a professional fresh food environment, contributing to exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Hours are approx 45 hours per week with 3 days off per week
Shared live in is possible for the right candidate with a small rent contribution.
We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards
* Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation
* Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section, adhering to food safety regulations
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
* Ensure all food is prepared in a hygienic manner, complying with health and safety standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in fresh food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
