Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at our care home. Whether we're providing long or short-term, convalescence, respite or palliative care, our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your duties will include assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Delivering care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. You may help someone with limited mobility to use an aid, offer emotional support to a distressed resident, or provide end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act on concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training relevant to their roles.
