Are you ready to be part of a diverse team that collaborates to deliver outstanding customer experiences? Tesco Property Maintenance is looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. Our stores and offices rely on the support of our dedicated teams.
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks. To succeed in this role, you should be able to:
* Confidently interact with external contractors: Coordinate repairs seamlessly.
* Work collaboratively with the team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
* Sustain high energy levels: Juggle tasks efficiently.
* Assist the management team: Keep our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimize customer disruption: Coordinate repairs with minimal impact on customers.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional, following work schedules for first-time fixes, sharing best practices with team members, performing general maintenance, using mobile devices for work updates, representing Tesco's core values, attending meetings, and supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction, and be digitally confident using tablets and email.
Operational Skills:
* Completion of a recognised apprenticeship, trade proficiency, or relevant experience
* Basic diagnostics and fault finding on PCB/Microprocessor/HMI systems
* Electrical safety knowledge and fault replacement
* EICR remedial knowledge
* Full driving license
* Health & Safety awareness
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in Office 365
Required Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Level 3 – Electrical or equivalent
* Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
* EICR remedial works experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* City & Guilds Inspection & Testing
* ECoPs
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* MEWP/IPAF Licence
