* Perform and interpret ultrasound scans for the obstetrics and gynaecology team, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
* Collaborate closely with obstetricians, gynaecologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
* Maintain patient records and ultrasound images, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and data protection regulations.
* Reassure and communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and results with clarity and empathy.
* Stay up-to-date with advancements in sonography technology and techniques to ensure best practices are implemented.
Requirements:
* Must be HCPC registered to practise as a sonographer in the UK.
* Experience in obstetrics and gynaecology is essential.
* A valid driving licence is required due to the mobile nature of the role.
