Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an excellent Teaching Assistant interested in a temp to perm role!
You will work within a fantastic secondary school in the South Liverpool area and start in January 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person, providing tailored academic and emotional support within a secondary school setting. The school will be looking to interview before the Christmas break.
Teaching Assistant
1. Location – South Liverpool, L25
2. Type of work – Temporary to permanent
3. Start date – January 2026
4. Looking to Interview: before the Christmas break
5. Full time/part time – Full time
6. Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
7. Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
8. Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
9. Providing emotional support: Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress.
10. Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students’ overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
11. Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
12. Collaboration: work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.
