Based in Burntwood, this growing service business is seeking a committed and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. You will play a key role in supporting the Accountant and ensuring financial operations run smoothly. THE ROLE As a Purchase Ledger Controller, you will take ownership of processing purchase invoices, ensuring they are accurately entered into the accounting system. You will be responsible for reconciling supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly. The role also involves maintaining accurate transaction records and assisting with month-end closing procedures to support smooth financial reporting. REQUIREMENTS You will have 2–3 years’ experience handling high volumes of invoices within a finance or accounts payable function. Experience using Keyloop Drive would be highly advantageous. You must possess excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, allowing you to manage multiple priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is also self-motivated, with strong communication skills to liaise confidently with both suppliers and internal departments.
