Overview
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our acute respiratory ward at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital. Ward 12 specialises in acute respiratory care including a dedicated respiratory support unit.

Responsibilities
* To assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care working as a member of the ward team under the direction of the Ward Manager.
* To be responsible for the organising and co-ordination of nursing services in the ward/department in the absence of senior staff on a regular basis.
* To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
* To be responsible for all nursing care standards and to maintain high clinical standards.
* To liaise with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure a safe and seamless transition for patients.
* Delivery of medications including intravenous preparations.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Candidates must demonstrate compassion and care towards their patients and be able to deliver a high standard of care.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our patients, including weekends and night shifts.
