Quality Assurance Technician We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to maintaining our high standards for product quality, food safety, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive quality checks, and working alongside with various departments to ensure we are "audit-ready" at all times. Key Responsibilities Perform daily quality control inspections on incoming raw materials and packaging, documenting and reporting any non-conformances to management. Conduct site-wide daily hygiene audits and occasional evening inspections to ensure adherence to our rigorous cleaning standards. Manage and maintain pest control standards and documentation. Analyse and trend quality data to proactively identify potential issues and drive continuous improvement. Provide essential support to the production and hygiene teams, offering expert guidance on quality and safety procedures. Champion a culture of "audit-readiness" across the site, ensuring all processes and documentation meet and exceed industry standards. Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing. Verification of test equipment, temperature controls and weighing systems. Essential HND level education or equivalent OR 2+ years in a similar role within food manufacture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in using IT systems for data entry and analysis. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Desirable Qualifications Prior experience in a quality assurance or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of UK retailer audits. Basic Food Hygiene certification. About Hours: Monday Friday 07:30 16:00 Pay: £15.55 per hour Positions 1 x full time 38.3 hours per week
