Compensation: £28,500 - £29,500 / year
Role Summary
We are looking for an I&C Billing Analyst to drive sustainable and operational change to create breakthrough benefits. The role will involve working closely with all departments in the business and having regular meetings with exposure to senior management.
Responsibilities
* Resolving specific customer accounts within agreed service level agreements and supporting end‑to‑end delivery of a designated billing portfolio.
* Support maintenance and smooth running of billing systems, and work through system exceptions to resolve billing queries.
* Set up large customer multi‑site accounts in the billing system for group billing.
* Work alongside other departments to resolve complex billing queries such as metering, industry and data exceptions.
* Liaise with external agents to resolve complex industry/billing exceptions and assist technical leads with producing billing statistics for the line manager.
* Coordinate billing tasks to ensure weekly and monthly targets are met.
* Work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
* Build effective inter‑departmental working relationships, be flexible and a strong team player.
* Highlight process improvements and support the team to drive change, including UAT testing of system upgrades, bugs and new software.
* Experience in dealing with DC/DC/MOP & DNO is desirable.
* Exposure to industry data flows with a good understanding of industry interaction is also desirable.
