You will be joining an industry-leading main contractor based in Worcestershire operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited contractor specialises in delivering clean water infrastructure solutions for major water providers and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. They have a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Construction Manager to join their delivery team.
This is a full-time permanent position based on their site in Shrewsbury.
Your new role
As Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all day-to-day site operations on clean water infrastructure projects
2. Undertaking site audits and ensuring work is carried out inpliance with water industry regulations and safety standards
3. Liaising with the client, local authorities and key project stakeholders
4. Supervising and managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
5. Providing regular reports to senior management
6. Ensuring projects are delivered safely within budget and to programme.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
7. Previous construction/site management experience within the water industry, ideally on clean water infrastructure projects
8. CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
9. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
10. Full UK driving licence.
