WHAT YOU´LL DO During your 12-month placement, you’ll work within our Clinical Operations Team as part of a structured rotation across three areas. This gives you a comprehensive understanding of how life-saving medicines begin their journey: Clinical Operations : After comprehensive training and working alongside the clinical operations team, you´ll work directly with patients and healthy volunteers. You’ll assist with tasks such as taking blood samples, monitoring vital signs, performing ECGs and other study assessments. Screening – Learn how volunteers are assessed and approved for participation in Phase I clinical trials. You will receive full training to conduct screening appointments, completing assessments and entering data into the electronic data capture system. Laboratory : Work alongside our Laboratory technicians to process, pipette, store and ship biological samples.
