Maintenance/Facility Assistant
Location: Edinburgh, EH16 4SA
Rate: £15.50/Hr
Hours: 8:00AM to 4:00PM (Monday - Friday)
Randstad is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance/Facility Assistant for a 2-month contract starting June 2nd, 2025. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a well-established team and gain valuable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a good general construction background and a commitment to safety.

Who are you?
* Must have Basic DBS check
* Should provide 2 professional references
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Experience in building service systems is a plus
* General construction background
* Commitment to health and safety
What are you going to do?
* Undertake general maintenance tasks
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance
* Work on fire dampers and related systems
* Assist other skilled tradespeople
* Carry out minor building repairs
* Respond to weather-related issues (snow clearing, etc.)
* Maintain service records
* Liaise with clients and colleagues
* Comply with health and safety policies
* Complete mandatory training
* Communicate effectively with team members
* Handle other duties as assigned
