We're currently seeking a Senior/Principal UI Programmer to join our team.As a Senior/Principal UI Programmer, you'll be at the forefront of an exciting AAA project, leveraging your expertise to create UI experiences that immerse and captivate players. Working closely with our talented team, you'll craft the UI elements that define our games, pushing boundaries and setting new standards.Join us as we embark on an exhilarating journey to create the next generation of gaming experiences. In this role you will :
1. Work within a cross-disciplined team including programmers, designers, animators , and artists on the UI aspect of many features of the game.
2. Participate in the development of a high-level framework of reusable UI components to ease sharing between projects.
3. Be the owner of the UI area for the game, in collaboration with the tech lead and other UI persons
4. Implement features considering maintenance, evolution, and live support, respecting our standards in terms of quality and performance;
5. Test carefully the newly implemented features and suggest improvements;
6. Debug and optimize your code at a low and high level to ensure optimal performance and quality;
7. Be an active participant in our code review process.
What we're looking for :
8. 5+ years of experience as a Programmer in the game industry.
9. Strong skills in C++ programming.
10. Strong understanding of how a game engine works and of editor concepts.
11. Strong interest and a real enthusiasm for gaming technologies, UI, and gamer experience.
12. You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solutions.
13. You can prioritize, plan, and organize your work & time and work within deadlines.
14. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
15. You thrive on change and can adapt to changing needs and requirements.
16. Bonus point - experience with Unreal 4 or later, UMG, or MVVM framework.
