Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a lead Instrument and Controls Engineer with expertise in Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) to work on a portfolio of Instrument & Control projects within a chemical manufacturing plant.
Key skills required for this role:
* Demonstrable experience as a lead Instrument & Control Systems Engineer within a highly regulated sector e.g. oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, chemical manufacturing.
* Solid experience with Siemens and GE Mk 6eS turbine control systems.
* TUV Functional Safety Engineer certification.
* Experience with Compex Ex12.
* Experience with IACS cybersecurity in a COMAH environment is a plus.

What will I be doing?
1. Lead project delivery, managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and coordination.
2. Participate in the full design lifecycle, from concept and FEED to detailed engineering and execution.
3. Develop project plans, write specifications, and estimate costs, selecting instruments and safety devices to ISA standards.
4. Review and approve instrumentation documents such as P&IDs, loop drawings, datasheets, and FAT procedures.
5. Utilize tools like SAP, Analytics for Excel, and Tableau for data analysis and documentation.
6. Manage commissioning, schedules, scope adjustments, and onsite operations.
What do I need to succeed?
* Good knowledge of ICSS design standards, safety codes, and specifications.
* Hands-on experience with Siemens and GE Mk 6eS turbine control systems.
* TUV Functional Safety Engineer certification.
* Compex Ex12 qualification.
* Experience in IACS cybersecurity within a COMAH environment is advantageous.
