About the role
* Responsibility for daily price generation.
* Ensuring calculations are accurate and aligned with GX methodology.
* Engagement and relationship-building with participants and data contributors in this segment.
* Development of trade and data-based market insights and analysis to contextualise price movements.
* Working closely with Sales and other teams to help clients understand and adopt GX data.
* Contributing to the identification and development of new markets, from early research through to index launch.
* Support GX webinars, publications and other thought-leadership content.
* Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing knowledge and best practice.
About you
* 2–3 years’ experience in price discovery, price reporting, or a related role within oil or energy markets.
* A relevant degree or qualification (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar), or equivalent practical experience.
* Strong numerical skills and a careful, detail-oriented approach.
* Confidence using Excel.
