Our long standing and well established client based in Andover, Hampshire is looking for a Management Accountant to join their friendly and vibrant team. Reporting in to the Finance Manager you will pay a key part and be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts together with annual financial accounts and budgets.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
* Raise and post journals as required including accruals and prepayments
* To be responsible for the analysis of P&L accounts
* To be responsible for the analysis of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
* VAT
* Production of the annual budget
* To produce in a timely manner accurate year end accounts
* To assist with the timely production of the year end Statutory Financial Statements
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
* Studying towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA
* Hands on experience in delivering high quality reporting
* Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and plan effectively
* You will be comfortable to liaise with both external and internal parties
