This role is all about keeping tools in top condition, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing them to keep production running smoothly. If youre experienced in a toolroom and want to be part of a busy, hands-on team, this Tool Room Technician position could be for you. What youll be doing as a Tool Room Technician: Maintain and repair tools to a high standard Strip, clean, and reassemble tools ready for production Diagnose faults, solve breakdowns, and minimise downtime Modify and refurbish tools when needed Install and set up tools for production runs Keep accurate records of tool maintenance and repairs Work closely with production and engineering teams to keep things moving What were looking for in a Tool Room Technician: Previous experience in a toolroom environment Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use precision measuring equipment Problem-solving mindset and good attention to detail Team player but comfortable working independently Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude Flexible, positive, and keen to keep developing skills Why this Tool Room Technician role?
