Yard Team Manager - Rotating Shift
Job Overview: As Yard Team Manager (supervisor position reporting into Yard Manager), you will have responsibility for the daily operations yard team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to company procedures and standards.
The ability to lead by example and be an effective communicator across all levels inclusive of working closely with transport and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team leadership: Supervising, training, motivating colleagues.
* Safety Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues or hazards.
* Operational Efficiency Optimizing yard efficiency and workflow, maintaining traffic flow throughout the site meeting collection windows for the carriers.
* Communication: Communicating effectively with all team members and other departments to ensure smooth operational capability.
* Logistics: Coordination of receipt, storage and delivery to our network of customers.

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
