Registered Nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) – Learning Disabilities Rehabilitation
* Salaries
* Up to 2 years post Preceptorship: £41,000 per annum (per hour rate not specified)
* 2+ years post Preceptorship: £44,000 per annum (per hour rate not specified)
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available – you can choose depending on your preference
Shifts: Days only, Nights only can be considered though ideally you would work mixed shifts on a rotational basis
Summary:
Appoint Healthcare partners with a leading provider supporting adults with mental health, learning disabilities, and brain injuries. We seek a newly qualified preceptorship nurse or experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD or RMN) to join their Specialist Learning Disabilities Hospital near Cardiff. The service caters to patients with primary diagnoses of learning disabilities and forensic histories, often with complex needs and challenging behaviors. The hospital is accessible from Cardiff city center and features a bespoke learning disability / ASC-friendly environment, with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality care.
Preceptorship Nurses: Newly qualified nurses will benefit from a comprehensive preceptorship program supported by experienced staff mentors.
Requirements:
* Relevant Nursing Qualification (RMN or RNLD)
* Valid NMC Registration with no restrictions or expecting PIN soon (for newly qualified nurses)
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK (British Passport or Biometric Card)
* High self-motivation and flexible approach
* Positive, caring, and compassionate attitude
