This role is a blend of project management and hands-on project engineering. You’ll own the planning, coordination and successful delivery of projects - but you’ll also stay close enough to the technology to design solutions, support engineers, and occasionally get hands-on when needed. Duties and Responsibilities Own the delivery of multiple customer projects from scoping through to completion Plan projects effectively – timelines, resourcing, risks, dependencies and communication Technical background – you need to know what you’re managing Be comfortable jumping between projects and priorities Work closely with customers – building trust and confidence Be accountable – do what you say you will do Forward-thinking – anticipate blockers before they become problems Produce clear, concise, customer-friendly project documentation Understand the commercial impact of projects – time, cost, margin and scope Strong calendar and logistics management (engineer availability, travel, cutovers, etc.) Roll up your sleeves – willing to step in technically when delivery requires it Positive team player – support engineers, reduce pressure, keep morale strong Joined-up thinker – understand the customer’s business, not just their technology Confident communicator – able to chair meetings, drive outcomes and keep momentum Required Experience / Skills Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Strong background in IT engineering (support, infrastructure, projects or senior escalation) Experience delivering IT projects (formal PM title not essential) Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows environments Experience with migrations (server, cloud, tenant-to-tenant, etc.) is highly desirable Comfortable managing multiple projects/tasks at once Ability to lead, influence and motivate engineers Calm under pressure and comfortable in a fast-moving environment Role is based in our Head Office in Peterborough Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel.
