Role Overview

At Fine Group, we solve complex problems for organisations that require technical textile solutions. Our focus is on the protection of people and equipment. Our technical textile experts manage prototype, design, and manufacture bespoke products, distributing them all around the world. We work closely with our customers to tailor solutions that fit their distinct requirements, and we have tight control over the entire process, ensuring the final product is something that we can all be proud of.


The Key Account Manager will oversee major Fine Group accounts across our sectors,, driving growth through strategic relationship management. You will identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and expand revenue streams while acting as the primary point of contact for key clients. This role requires a proactive, highly organised individual with strong closing skills and the confidence to engage effectively at all levels.


What We’re Looking For:

· Proven experience in account management within the industrial B2B manufacturing sector, ideally involving engineered textiles. Specific experience in the Industrial, Defence, Healthcare or Emergency Service sectors is a positive.

· Strong negotiation, influencing, and account planning capabilities.

· Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident when engaging with senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

* Account Management:
* Serve as the main liaison for assigned key accounts.
* Understand client requirements and communication for client requirements to colleagues across Fine Group.
* Provision of key information to clients on specific orders, opportunities for improvement and about the Fine Group business, including bringing other key team members into discussions.
* Relationship Building:
* Develop strong, long-term partnerships with decision-makers within key client accounts
* Conduct regular business reviews and site visits to maintain engagement.
* Sales & Growth:
* Identify opportunities for upselling through communicating with clients about the Fine Group offer.
* Achieve revenue and margin targets and contribute to overall business growth.
* Compliance & Technical Expertise:
* Support the Group to ensure all products meet relevant standards required by clients (e.g., EN, ISO).
* Provide support and guidance on Industrial / PPE specifications and certifications, and be a conduit for information between clients and Fine Group production and technical teams
* Strategic Planning:
* Develop and execute account plans aligned with client and company goals.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, design, operations, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
* Communicate and respond to client feedback to improve products and services.

Skills & Qualifications

* Proven experience in account management or sales within the industrial B2B manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of relevant standards, safety requirements, and compliance regulations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry
* Possession of UK Driving Licence
