Location: Brighton, Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH). Salary: £39,959‑£48,117 per annum (Band 6).
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and specialist Senior CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at RSCH. The role requires a highly qualified radiographer committed to providing a high standard of patient care and imaging outcomes.
Responsibilities
* The radiographer will be a core member of the CT imaging team across all CT departments on the RSCH site and will achieve competence in all areas required for the emergency out‑of‑hours service.
* Undertake a wide range of clinical duties to provide a high‑quality imaging service and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, encouraging and supporting colleagues to do the same.
* Ensure the department delivers an exemplary service and experience to patients and members of the public.
* Ensure departmental adherence to Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) 2017, Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) 2017 and the Trust’s policies, protocols and guidelines.
* Actively participate as a member of the multi‑disciplinary team, including supervising newly qualified and junior staff, assistant practitioners and student radiographers.
* Support the Superintendent Radiographers to ensure that the day‑to‑day running of the CT departments is smoothly coordinated.
* Participate in the extended working day, weekend and night rotas; provide coverage on an off‑the‑hour basis.

This role is eligible for UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker sponsorship under the standard salary and skill thresholds. Applicants must meet all UKVI criteria. Applicants on a Graduate Visa who have at least 18 months remaining on their visa are also eligible.
Qualifications
* HCPC registration.
* Clinical radiography experience in an NHS setting.
* Extensive experience in CT imaging.
* Experience in mobiles, theatre, plain film, paediatrics.
* Awareness of IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR 2017.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (RIDDOR, COSHH, Health and Safety at Work Act).
* Evidence of development around equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Evidence of championing diversity in previous roles where appropriate.
