Management Accountant, Coventry, Temporary ongoing assignment, £180 per day

Your new roleIn your new role of Management Accountant, you will support the accurate and timely recording of financial information within the Ledgers and Management Accounts, in line with the financial timetable. You will prepare and analyse project financial reports, including forecasts and variance analysis, while monitoring project costs and supporting compliance. The position offers broad exposure across finance activities, including CVR management, cash reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end reporting, and support with half-year and full-year audits.
You will also be responsible for managing timesheets, processing accounts payable and payment runs, raising accurate sales invoices from client certificates, monitoring the sales ledger, and supporting credit control activities. Additional responsibilities include managing intercompany transactions, preparing and posting journals, assisting with overhead reporting, supporting weekly cash reporting, helping maintain financial and operational systems, and providing support to senior team members when required duties.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a finance or accounts environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You should be comfortable handling a varied workload, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and working collaboratively as part of a team. You will have a proactive and flexible approach, along with good systems and spreadsheet skills, will be essential.
