Business Development Manager – Facilities Management | Field-Based | Permanent
Arcus FM is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced, ambitious Business Development Manager to help us drive our next phase of growth across Facilities Management business.

The Role
* You’ll take the lead on identifying and securing new business opportunities aligned with our growth strategy.
* With a focus on Hard FM (and ideally experience developing integrated FM contracts), you’ll:
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
* Network confidently across industry events and forums
* Develop an understanding of the client’s activities and requirements
* Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers
* Work closely with our Operations team to shape, tender, and deliver winning solutions
* Keep up to date with FM innovations, technology, and legislation to stay ahead of the curve
You’ll report directly to the Business Development Director, collaborating with senior operational directorship and a close-knit, high-performing team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in Business Development within Facilities Management (Hard FM essential; Soft FM, Critical Services or Refrigeration experience an advantage)
* Has demonstratable written skills
* A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging at Director level
* Has a great understanding of solution selling and the consultative approach
* Commercially astute, methodical, and tenacious
* Passionate about building long-term client partnerships
* Prepared to be hands on and do whatever it takes to meet the demands of the clients.
