An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join a leading conveyancing team at a highly regarded law firm in Plymouth.

The Opportunity: Residential Property Paralegal
This firm has built a strong reputation for its conveyancing and residential property work, acting for buyers, sellers, developers and investors across the South West and nationally. As a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting a team of expert property lawyers and fee earners on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the management of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold, leasehold, remortgages and transfers of equity
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
* Handle post-exchange and post-completion matters
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
* Provide administrative support to senior fee earners and solicitors in the property department
* Communicate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing
What You'll Need
* Previous experience working in a conveyancing or residential property legal team
* Minimum of 12 months in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant role within a property department
* Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* A proactive, client-focused mindset

Location:
This role is based in Plymouth, with some flexibility for hybrid working depending on experience and team needs.
