Responsibilities
* Responsible for commercial ownership of complete seat programs. Negotiate series projects and contracts with customer on from Buyer to Senior Management level
* Customer relationship management – OEM Buyer / Purchase Manager / Lead Engineers / Piece Cost Engineers / Vendor Tooling Cost Engineers
* Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion
* Manage sales account with P&L responsibility, cost and pricing management and profitability ownership from project inception through to SOP
* Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics
* Deliver engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline.
* Maintain internal reporting
* Support business case approvals.
* Report out program commercial status to senior level
* Follow up on aging debt / drive cash-in collection in line with forecast dates
Qualifications
* Experienced automotive tier 1 Account Manager – ideally with a background in complex, high value commodities
* Highly developed commercial acumen, be a motivated self-starter and willingness to take the lead
* Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts
* High level communication and organisational skills
