Prospero Teaching are supporting a warm, friendly and well-resourced primary school in the Wallasey area who are looking to appoint a full-time KS1 Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives in Key Stage 1 and enjoys helping children grow in confidence, independence and early academic skills.
The role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that support pupils’ literacy, numeracy and personal development. Working closely with the school’s strong leadership team and classroom support staff, you’ll help create a positive learning environment where children feel safe, encouraged and excited to learn.
Responsibilities
7. Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
8. Creating an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
9. Tracking, assessing and reporting on pupil progress
10. Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
11. Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
12. Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines
13. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate
18. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
19. Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
20. Warm, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
21. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
22. Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
23. Understanding of safeguarding and primary school policies
