Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to individual needs.
* Assist pupils with SEND to ensure full participation and progress in classroom activities.
* Promote positive behaviour and create a nurturing learning environment.
* Engage students in age-appropriate developmental activities.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor and enhance pupil progress.
* Prepare learning materials and maintain a safe, structured classroom.
* Provide personal care support when required, with dignity and sensitivity.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or adults with SEND is desirable.
* We also welcome applicants from non-educational backgrounds with relevant experience (e.g. support workers, carers, youth mentors).
* Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
* Knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive education practices is a plus.
* Empathetic, patient, and proactive team player.
