About the Role:
As a Despatch Operative, you'll be a key part of the final stage in the production process, ensuring customer orders are packed correctly, handled with care, and dispatched on time. You'll be working in a busy warehouse environment, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient despatch operation.
Despatch Operative - Immediate Start
Location: Brough (HU15)
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour
Shifts: Sunday - Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - Finish
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick and pack products ready for despatch
* Label and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
* Load completed orders onto transport vehicles
* Perform final quality checks before items leave the site
* Use handheld scanners or systems to record dispatch data
* Work closely with production, warehouse, and transport teams
* Maintain clean and organised despatch areas, adhering to health & safety standards
* Support stock rotation and basic stock handling tasks when required

About You:
* Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics role (preferred but not essential)
* Good attention to detail and accuracy in order handling
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable and flexible approach to shift patterns
* A team player with good communication skills
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
