Role Overview: As a Refuge Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Your responsibilities will include ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, and providing both emotional and practical support to those in need. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people. Work with high-risk clients to ensure their safety and well-being. Conduct thorough risk and needs assessments. Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive support. Assist vulnerable adults and children affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, sexual abuse, housing issues, homelessness, or those who are ex-offenders.Essential Requirements: A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.
