SW-007-Carpenter-211 Carpenter Multi-Trader £33,500 per annum Permanent FTC role Working for a Maintenance Contractor Based Stratford upon Avon FTC role 6 months | Social Housing Maintenance | Van & Fuel Card Provided * Based in Stratford upon Avon covering Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas so travel is essential Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas. This is a long-term fixed term contract position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, planned works, and general maintenance within occupied and void properties. The ideal candidate will be a strong 2nd Fix Carpenter with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard. Key Responsibilities As a Carpenter Multi-Trader, your duties will include: * Completing carpentry repairs, renewals and installations in occupied properties * Undertaking multi-trade works including: * Plumbing repairs (like-for-like) * Tiling (mainly splashbacks) * Patch plastering * Painting & decorating * General domestic repairs * Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible * Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs * Logging works accurately on a PDA and completing daily job sheets * Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality * Providing a professional, respectful service to tenants * Reporting any additional or follow-on works required * Maintaining van stock, equipment and materials * Working independently or as part of a team when required Essential Criteria Experience working in occupied residential settings Strong customer service and communication skills Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points) Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch Desirable Criteria Previous social housing repairs experience NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery OR time-served equivalent Experience using a PDA Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments Knowledge of SOR codes What You Will Receive Competitive salary of £33,500 per annum 6 Months FTC on a permanent basis Company van and fuel card provided Work across a dedicated local patch – no long travel Weekly pay Opportunity to contribute to improving the quality and safety of tenants’ homes Next step to apply for this Carpenter role: As a candidate ideally with similar experience, you will already know the technical specifications of this role, but following your application of interest, you will have the role explained in more detail ITS Property Maintenance are acting as an employment agency for this vacancy ITS Property Maintenance specialise in working within the social housing sector where we work with: ✅ Housing Association ✅ Local Authority ✅ Direct Labour Organisation ✅ Maintenance Contractors ✅ Estates Department ✅ FM Contractors.
